Automation Technical Product Manager, Protein Development

Role: Automation Technical Product Manager for Protein Development within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine R&D. Objectives: transform global protein therapeutic labs into data-centric, automated environments supporting digital twin technology and FAIR data principles. Responsibilities: oversee end-user tools for computational modeling, drug development, cell engineering, and automation; manage SaaS and bioreactor system applications; deliver digital automation solutions; develop digital roadmaps for end-to-end data flows; collaborate across functions to drive value; monitor performance metrics. Requirements: Bachelor's in Biotechnology, Computer Science, or related; 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries with expertise in cloud platforms (AWS), data systems, programming (Python, Java, R), SDLC for GxP data, and project management tools; strong communication skills. Preferred: experience in biologics R&D, global software deployment, data standards, and lab systems like PAT, eLab Notebooks; up to 10% travel.
