The Position:
- Ensure new processes & equipment are compliant with line of business and global standards
- Work with local/global teams to design equipment/processes meeting URS & IFA for install, qualification, and successful ramp up
- Improve reliability of process control systems to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements; serve as gatekeeper for standards

Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure process design compliance
- Develop interface agreements and align requirements with equipment vendors
- Develop and implement plans to maintain/improve process control systems
- Schedule and execute plans with manufacturing schedules
- Develop/monitor expense budgets for process control systems
- Maintain automation standards, specifications, and maintenance plans
- Lead self-development to understand site process control systems
- Support audits/inspections as SME; coach/train stakeholders
- Use cLEAN tools (Systematic Problem Solving, process improvement, project management)
- Operate with a quality mindset focused on risk management/mitigation; implement change management
- Support corporate/PS/IT/local initiatives and projects; help develop SOPs/best practices/maintenance procedures
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements

Physical Requirements:
- Open office environment; frequent distraction possible
- Travel up to 10%

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/related field required
- OR minimum 7 years engineering experience (process-based manufacturing, utility, and/or packaging)
- OR minimum 9 years engineering experience with high school degree/GED
- Minimum 5 years engineering experience required
- (Logistics roles only) Warehouse automation equipment preferred
- Knowledge of SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; general controls a plus; SAP EWM a plus
- Proven expertise in planning/organization and project execution required
- Ability to translate direction into actionable tasks using cLEAN/Six Sigma (plus)
