Role: Automation Engineer supporting Process Control Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) at a biopharma manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with standards for existing and new equipment. Responsibilities: configure and support MES platforms, enable real-time production data capture, automate workflows, and integrate systems; collaborate with Process Engineers and Operations to develop and review system specifications; support audits, implement change management, and participate in SOP development; adhere to safety and quality protocols; and support site initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with a minimum of 3-7 years' experience in process manufacturing systems; knowledge of MES platforms (e.g., Emerson Syncade, PAS-X), DCS/SCADA, SQL, and programming languages (VB.Net, PowerShell, C#); experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, or packaging operations; ability to work in an open environment with up to 10% travel. Preferred: experience with DeltaV, planning and organization skills, and familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
