The Position
- Work with business stakeholders and/or project teams and vendors to ensure process control systems for existing and/or new equipment and processes align with local and global standards.
- Work with equipment vendors to specify equipment IFA requirements, ensuring equipment can connect to and be used in local manufacturing; serve as a gatekeeper for standards.

Essential Functions
- Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
- Schedule and execute plans in coordination with manufacturing schedules.
- Serve as an automation resource on projects involving process control systems.
- Own self-development to understand site process control systems.
- Adhere to automation standards and implement changes to automation-related specifications and maintenance plans.
- Support audits and inspections for process control systems.
- Utilize cLEAN tools within Systematic Problem Solving, process improvement, and project management.
- Operate with a Quality Mindset focused on risk management and mitigation.
- Implement effective change management.
- Support Corporate/PS/local IT and local stakeholder initiatives and projects.
- Participate in development of new SOPs, best practices, and maintenance procedures.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or related field (required).
- May consider Associateโ€™s degree with 5+ years, or High School/GED with 7+ years, engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility and/or packaging systems.
- Minimum 3 years engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility and/or packaging systems.
- Logistics roles only: warehouse automation equipment experience a plus.
- Knowledge of: SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; general controls a plus; SAP EWM a plus.
- Planning/organization/execution expertise a plus; cLEAN/Six Sigma translation skills a plus.
