Audit Director, IT & Digital

Role: Audit Director, IT & Digital within AstraZeneca's Group Internal Audit, focusing on assessing IT and digital risk management, controls, and governance. Responsibilities: lead planning, execution, and oversight of the annual IT audit plan; deliver insightful reports tailored for executive audiences; ensure timely implementation of recommendations; foster stakeholder relationships and stay current on industry trends; support team development; promote innovation using AI and data analytics. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years in IT or IT auditing, with experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, digital transformation, or emerging tech; prior experience with Big Four or large global firms or internal audit in biopharma/pharma; strong project management, communication, and stakeholder skills; willingness to travel (~10%). Preferred: Life Sciences/biopharma industry experience; leading complex, multi-region audits; familiarity with IT control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, COBIT); professional certifications (CISA, CISSP, CIA, etc.). Work setup: hybrid, with an average of three days in office per week and flexibility; travel as needed.
