Role: Associate Director, Trade & Tariffs at Novo Nordisk, providing strategic guidance on U.S. trade, tariffs, customs, and cross-border issues to influence supply chain, manufacturing, and sourcing decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Tax, Legal, Supply Chain, and Public Affairs to manage risks, ensure compliance, and leverage trade opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or related; 10+ years of experience in corporate trade, tariffs, customs, supply chain, or related fields; significant U.S. trade/regulatory expertise; proven ability to lead complex initiatives in matrix environments; strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: advanced degrees, certifications (e.g., CPA, licensed customs broker), experience in regulated industries such as pharma or medical devices, and familiarity with trade tech systems (SAP GTS, S/4HANA). High-value: focus on U.S. trade, tariffs, customs, international trade law, and cross-border planning within the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector. Work setup: primarily office-based with minimal travel (0-10%). This role involves high visibility and strategic influence at the enterprise level.
