POCS – Rahway: Associate Technician, Operations (FLEx Associate Sterile Technician)
Hours: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (2nd shift). Location: Rahway, NJ (100% on-site).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, operate, and clean equipment and facilities used in clinical development and manufacturing.
- Maintain, inventory, and transport processing equipment, materials, supplies, and products.
- Execute GMP documentation and clerical functions using paper-based and electronic systems.
- Maintain knowledge of process equipment/operations; troubleshoot equipment/systems and provide feedback to improve processes.
- Participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support investigations and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
Education Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems/applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Equipment HMI, SAP, and Calibration/Maintenance database systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs; bend, stoop, squat, crawl, twist; climb ladders; and wear cleanroom protective gowning including respirators.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime (required).
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience with machine operations, electronics, or similar technology.
- BioWork Certificate (for working in an FDA or similar regulated industry).
Benefits/Compensation:
- Salary range: $50,700 - $79,900. Eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive (if applicable). Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate/sick days.
