Associate Scientist β Process Development Downstream and Formulation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on work executing downstream vector purification experiments using ultracentrifuges, chromatography systems, and tangential flow filtration (TFF).
- Support formulation development activities, including excipient screening, stability studies, and commercial in-use conditions for adenovector products.
- Perform analytical assays including HPLC, DLS, ELISA, and SDS-PAGE.
- Document study results in notebooks, forms, and technical reports.
- Communicate and present scientific findings in process development groups.
Education and Experience / Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or another relevant engineering/scientific qualification (level based on education and experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in downstream purification or drug product development.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn new applications.
- Experience summarizing and presenting data and authoring technical reports.
