Role Summary
Associate Quality Control is responsible for performing essential laboratory support functions that ensure the highest standards of quality in laboratory operations, maintaining integrity and reliability of processes to deliver excellence.
Responsibilities
- Parts and glassware washing and autoclaving, including proper documentation of these activities
- Maintain inventory of the chemicals in the labs
- Stock all QC labs
- Perform daily checks and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Receive, log, and distribute chemicals to the labs
- Purchase items for QC using iBuy
- Archive logbooks and manage lab notebooks in QC
- Read, understand, and follow appropriate SOPs and comply with cGMPs
- Maintain accurate and updated records of completed activities
- Maintain Training >95% with 100% completed prior to performing any related tasks
- Follow all safety regulations as required by AZ Policies and Procedures
- Detailed supervision and instructions provided for routine work as well as any new activities or special assignments
Qualifications
- Required: HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Required: 0-5 years of industry experience
- Preferred: AA degree or 2 additional years of work experience in lieu of a degree in a relevant area (e.g., life science or laboratory technology)
