Position Summary
- QC Associate for QC Analytical Flow Cytometry team at the Cell Therapy Facility (CTF) in Devens, MA. Supports Quality Control bioanalytical testing for in-process, release, and stability testing of clinical and commercial cell therapy drug product. May assist with investigations and continuous improvement.
Shift Schedule
- PM Shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 2 PM – 12 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bioanalytical testing and data review of in-process, batch release, and stability samples per procedures and cGMP.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned testing and tasks.
- May train on additional test methods and support broader testing responsibilities.
- Support investigations via data gathering or interviews.
- Apply scientific principles and proper laboratory equipment use.
- Communicate with management on task status, roadblocks, and needs.
- May participate in projects/continuous improvement.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Shift coverage may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and adverse weather conditions.
Education & Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (prefer physical or life sciences).
- 0–2+ years relevant analytical testing/QC experience (or equivalent), preferably in regulated environment.
- Demonstrated basic laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Preferred: cell/molecular biology techniques (cell-based assays, flow cytometry, qPCR, aseptic technique).
- Preferred: knowledge of regulatory standards for GMP labs.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Required: basic electronic systems knowledge (email, MS Office, etc.).
- Preferred: LIMS and ELN experience.
- Ability to work in a high-paced team, meet deadlines, and prioritize.
- Ability to communicate with peers and department management.
