Role Summary

Associate Patient Support Field Strategy and Operations Director. This position is responsible for managing and leading execution of the Patient Support Field Reimbursement teams across all NNI therapeutic areas, delivering high-performing field teams, defining capabilities and frameworks, overseeing program operations, compliance, vendor contracts and relationships, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Management of vendors including contracting, onboarding, training development, SBOs/KPIs development, execution and oversight
  • Partner with Director to implement launch planning strategies and drive field launch readiness
  • Oversee POA deliverables and development/execution of business plans; align objectives with cross-functional partners
  • Coordinate with marketing and internal stakeholders for appropriate, compliant execution
  • Engage with MAPA to understand access and reimbursement, developing field strategies to drive utilization
  • Ensure execution of home office initiatives in support of field processes and technology
  • Ensure national communications are understood and executed locally
  • Design and execute field reimbursement, training and other initiatives to elevate provider engagement
  • Participate in pre-POA and POA meetings as needed
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture
  • Use analytics and dashboards to identify reimbursement issues and develop strategic solutions with MAPA, sales and PSP
  • Multitask and prioritize across NNI patient support field teams for existing and new therapeutic areas

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive patient support / brand management and/or sales/operations experience
  • Strong analytics and insight generation; ability to navigate FRM/CRM portals and analyze data
  • In-depth knowledge of patient support programs and PSP vendor collaboration
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and onboarding for contingent employees
  • Agency/vendor management experience
  • Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to anticipate problems and avoid crisis management
  • Track record of developing accurate short- and long-term business plans and follow-up
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace including legal, medical, regulatory and clinical processes
  • Ensures timely execution and follow-up; meets deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
