What You Will Do
- Contribute to the development and execution of the US medical strategy and tactics for Rare Disease (FA asset), aligned with global strategy.
- Serve as a key US Medical contact for cross-functional partners (e.g., US Field Medical, Global Medical, Clinical Development, Epidemiology, Pharmacovigilance, Commercial, Market Access).
- Collaborate with global, regional and/or affiliate medical teams to align medical activities with global medical strategy and share US insights and needs.
- Understand local business needs and provide insights to local commercial teams to ensure alignment with the medical strategy.
- Build and nurture relationships with external stakeholders (including KMEs, healthcare institutions, and advocacy groups) in the FA therapeutic landscape.
- Contribute as a content expert to development/adaptation of medical materials (e.g., presentations, training materials, medical briefs, talking points) for internal and external engagements.
- Drive execution of the Rare Disease medical strategy by organizing and facilitating Advisory Board meetings, and contributing to congress deliverables and data-generation initiatives.

Required Skills
- MD, PhD, PharmD or comparable advanced degree (required).
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; preferably prior Headquarters Medical Affairs and/or Field Medical experience (clinical practice experience in Rare Disease may substitute).

Preferred Skills
- Clinical experience and subject matter expertise in FA and/or Rare Disease.
- Experience with medical launch and products across the lifecycle.
- Strong working knowledge of US regulations relevant to Medical Affairs.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with global/regional/affiliate medical teams to ensure alignment with global strategy.
- Ability to manage projects and take initiative to solve complex problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations.
