Role: Associate Medical Director / Global Safety Physician responsible for implementing global safety strategies and monitoring the safety profile of Jazz Pharmaceuticalsโ€™ investigational and marketed products throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities: oversee signal detection, benefit-risk evaluation, risk management, and safety reporting; contribute to safety sections of regulatory documents; collaborate on safety information and labeling updates; review scientific literature for safety signals; chair Safety Management Teams and participate in executive safety forums; ensure compliance with global PV regulations and conduct inspection readiness activities. Requirements: MD with at least 3 years of drug safety or clinical development experience; in-depth knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations, safety databases (ARISg, ARGUS), and MedDRA coding; strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with regulatory submissions such as PSURs, PBRERs, DSURs, and RMPs. Preferred: clinical research or fellowship training in internal medicine, neuroscience, hematology/oncology; experience with PV audits and inspections.
