Position Summary
The Associate, Manufacturing supports biological manufacturing with adherence to cGMP and GDP.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Perform manufacturing activities per cGMP (batch record execution/review, product & equipment changeover, troubleshooting, issue resolution).
- Execute process operations aligned to dynamic production timelines.
- Ensure safety and cGMP compliance in the manufacturing area.
- Communicate manufacturing activities transparently with management.
- Use cell culture expansion and aseptic techniques.
- Develop and author supporting cGMP documentation for cell culture processes.
- Maintain aseptic gowning qualification status; participate in semi-annual media fills.
- Work cross-functionally to streamline cGMP manufacturing operations.
- Cross-train and assist with multiple cell line operations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for cell culture equipment/operations.
- Assist with ordering materials and ensure equipment/materials are available for production.
- Follow SOPs and cGMP guidelines; maintain training profile requirements.
- Perform ad-hoc/cross-functional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, or related field.
- Preferred: Relevant industry/research experience; bio-manufacturing experience.

Skills / Abilities
- Attention to detail and cleanliness; safety/quality mindset; strong cGMP adherence.
- Teamwork and effective communication; hands-on approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Ability to read/apply SOPs and manufacturing batch records.

Working Environment (high level)
- Onsite lab environment; cleanroom aseptic/Class 100 conditions; occasional travel; occasional unscheduled days; ability to manage up to 50 lbs.

Compensation / Benefits (if eligible)
- Discretionary bonus and equity award.
- Hourly base pay: $31.25–$35.00.
