Role Summary
Associate Manufacturing โ Automation Engineer is responsible for defining, implementing, and driving industrial automation across all clinical assembly and packaging operations.
Responsibilities
- Work closely across multiple unit operations including device build, label & pack, print and line owners to execute a diverse portfolio of automation projects
- Identify automation opportunities to optimize workflows and protocols to increase throughput on the packaging lines
- Define, drive, and deliver the automation and process control strategy within assembly and packaging
- Leverage standard automation technical principles to devise new solutions
- Evaluate procedural improvement opportunities
- Conduct function testing, including writing protocol and reports
- Monitor developments in the field and evaluating new technologies
- Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance overall operations
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma / GED and 6 years of scientific experience
- Required: Associateโs degree and 4 years of scientific experience
- Required: Bachelorโs degree
- Preferred: Educational background in Engineering and/or Life Science
- Preferred: Leadership and teambuilding
- Preferred: Analytical problem solving and adaptability skills
- Preferred: Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills
- Preferred: Digital literacy with computer skills
- Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Tableau)
- Preferred: Project management experience
