Role Summary

Associate Manufacturing โ€“ Automation Engineer is responsible for defining, implementing, and driving industrial automation across all clinical assembly and packaging operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely across multiple unit operations including device build, label & pack, print and line owners to execute a diverse portfolio of automation projects
  • Identify automation opportunities to optimize workflows and protocols to increase throughput on the packaging lines
  • Define, drive, and deliver the automation and process control strategy within assembly and packaging
  • Leverage standard automation technical principles to devise new solutions
  • Evaluate procedural improvement opportunities
  • Conduct function testing, including writing protocol and reports
  • Monitor developments in the field and evaluating new technologies
  • Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance overall operations

Qualifications

  • Required: High school diploma / GED and 6 years of scientific experience
  • Required: Associateโ€™s degree and 4 years of scientific experience
  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree
  • Preferred: Educational background in Engineering and/or Life Science
  • Preferred: Leadership and teambuilding
  • Preferred: Analytical problem solving and adaptability skills
  • Preferred: Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Preferred: Digital literacy with computer skills
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Tableau)
  • Preferred: Project management experience
  • Preferred: Good communication skills and writing skills
