Role: Associate Laboratory Automation Scientist supporting scientific execution of automated workflows in therapeutic discovery. Responsibilities: configure, operate, troubleshoot, and improve automation systems such as liquid handlers, plate readers, and labware; support setup of samples, reagents, and documentation; assist in assay execution across protein, molecular, NGS, and biochemical workflows; ensure data traceability, sample integrity, and safety compliance; contribute to automation standards, validations, and continuous improvement activities. Qualifications: Bachelorβs in Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related field; minimum 1 year relevant experience with automated laboratory equipment, assay workflows, and data management; strong understanding of sample handling, assay execution, and metadata capture; collaborative skills across scientific and technical teams. Preferred: exposure to major automation platforms (Hamilton, Tecan, Beckman), regulated environments (GxP, GLP, GMP), and analytical assays; experience with scripting or lab informatics tools. High-Value: focus on R&D in innovative medicine, supporting automation in biotech/pharma discovery labs. Work setup: based in Spring House, PA, with potential travel for vendor assessments, system commissioning, or cross-site support.
