Associate II, Outsourced Manufacturing

Associate II, Global External Manufacturing, Small Molecule Drug Substance

Responsibilities:
- Execute the Global External Manufacturing network strategy, including business execution with external manufacturing organizations and management of supplier performance
- Collaborate with internal and external functions within/around PDM to achieve corporate, cross-functional, and departmental goals
- Influence network CMO performance to achieve strategic/tactical business outcomes, including KPIs
- Coordinate inter- and intra-company technical transfers
- Manage CMOs to ensure products are manufactured per the registered process and approved Master Production Record
- Support timely resolution of manufacturing/compliance issues: deviations, complaints, OOS investigations, Material Review Board investigations, finished product trending, and change control
- Facilitate continuous improvement to reduce cost, improve quality, increase efficiency, and ensure sustainability
- May represent manufacturing on cross-functional Development or Commercial CMC teams

Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech organization
- BA or BS degree in science or engineering (advanced degree desirable)
- MS or MBA may substitute for 1 year of relevant experience

- Gilead Foster City campus

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $102,085.00 - $132,110.00
- Discretionary annual bonus; discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility varies); paid time off; company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans (as stated)
