Associate General Counsel

Role: Serve as Associate General Counsel for AbbVie's U.S. aesthetics division, focusing on legal strategy for neurotoxins (BOTOX) and dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM). Responsibilities: advise senior leadership on compliance, product launches, marketing, patient programs, and regulatory submissions; provide legal guidance across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams concerning FDA regulations, anti-kickback, FCPA, Sunshine Act, and competition law; lead cross-functional legal projects and manage outside counsel; mentor legal team members and influence enterprise legal policies. Requirements: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; active license in the relevant jurisdiction; 10+ years of legal experience, preferably with complex commercial, regulatory, and operational matters. Preferred: demonstrated expertise advising executive stakeholders, managing legal teams, and integrating legal risk management with business strategy; strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
