Associate Finance Director, Patient Services Immunology

Associate Finance Director, AbbVie Patient Services (APS) Immunology will provide financial leadership and decision support for APS Immunology, accountable for overseeing the APS Immunology budget, ensuring financial plans, forecasts, and performance insights are accurate and aligned to business priorities. Serve as a strategic finance partner translating financial results, business drivers, and opportunities/risks into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis for APS Immunology (Plan, Update, LBE, LRP, monthly close, management reporting).
- Oversee APS Immunology expense management; ensure accurate records, reporting integrity, policy compliance, and visibility to key cost drivers.
- Develop/maintain financial models distinguishing fixed vs. volume-driven SG&A; enable forecasting and sensitivity analysis.
- Provide strategic partnership to leadership and stakeholders with recommendations and action plans.
- Prepare leadership reporting packages (Actuals vs. Plan/LBE, trends, performance gaps, investment needs, spend optimization).
- Partner with Patient Services Business on initiatives, resource needs, vendor spend, and operational changes impacting SG&A.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of financial processes, tools, and forecasting deliverables.
- Manage, coach, and develop one direct report.

Qualifications:
- Eight+ years progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience.
- Strong cross-functional relationship-building and independent work ability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA and/or MBA preferred; experience with ERP/planning systems (BPC, SAP) preferred.
