Associate Engineer, IT Laboratory Systems — support laboratory and manufacturing benchtop IT systems in a GMP-regulated environment (hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, operational execution).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for laboratory benchtop equipment and IT systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and IT hardware.
- Assist with installation and configuration of laboratory software and hardware.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and laboratory protocols.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance/support activities.
- Assist in training laboratory personnel on IT systems and equipment.
- Stay updated on laboratory technology and IT systems.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- 1 year technical support experience or relevant IT certifications (required); bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/related field (preferred).
- Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and IT systems.
- Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities; cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work non-standard schedules (nights, extended hours, weekends, holidays) and report onsite within a reasonable timeframe.
- Familiarity with lab software/hardware and experience with IT maintenance/troubleshooting (plus).
Compensation/Benefits (from posting):
- $62,050–$75,190 (Summit West - NJ).
