The Associate Director, US 3PL Operations role manages critical commercial supply chain activities for the US markets, ensuring compliant, uninterrupted, and efficient product supply to patients and customers. Oversees US 3PL operations and provides end-to-end oversight of the supplier and related processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee 3PL operations for the US market: service levels, compliant distribution activities, KPI monitoring, issue resolution, business continuity, and continuous improvement; support OTC process for effective order flow and escalation.
- Partner with Corporate Warehouse and Logistics to ensure uninterrupted supply from CMOs to the US distribution center.
- Partner with Trade to align operational execution with market requirements, channel dynamics, distribution models, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with Corporate Supply Chain Life cycle Management to ensure timely product launches and delivery to markets.
- Act as escalation point for critical supply, service, compliance, and distribution issues impacting the US market; lead risk assessment, scenario planning, and mitigation.
- Maintain GxP compliance across the supply chain network, including exceptions handling; investigate exceptions, determine root causes, implement CAPAs, drive closure; support QMR reporting and maintain KPIs.
- Maintain SOX compliance across the US distribution network, including exceptions handling supporting financial closures, inventory counting, and audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field (Masterβs preferred).
- 5+ years relevant supply chain experience within biotech.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in US commercial operations.
- Strong knowledge of regulated distribution operations.
- Cross-functional experience with Trade, Finance, Quality, and Commercial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead through complexity with internal teams and external partners.
- ERP experience (SAP preferred).
