Core Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight for designated therapeutic areas; may support and guide a Sr. Training Manager (including cross-therapeutic responsibilities).
- Design, develop, coordinate, and update Field Medical (FM) new hire, disease state, product, and data onboarding; conduct needs assessments and evaluations to drive quarterly updates; align with WW Medical Scientific Learning, WW Commercialization Learning, US FM, and HOM.
- Ensure launch readiness of FM via innovative learning design and collaboration; conduct Field Readiness Validations; provide mentoring and field-based learning programs.
- Design, develop, and deploy ongoing therapeutic area medical/scientific education/training for US FM teams; conduct needs assessments and evaluations.
- Support training for BMS scientific data releases at major US congresses (e.g., data training, post-congress contextualization, knowledge assessments, recorded media).
- Create/adapt internal materials and tools to support US FM delivery of product information and data to HCPs.
- Collaborate with US FM leaders, US Medical Affairs, and WW Medical Learning to select outside speakers/consultants for timely TA-related medical topics.
- Design training sessions using Adult Learning Principles; protect field time and ensure consistency of timing.
- Evaluate scientific learning materials/programs and recommend updates with stakeholder alignment; incorporate innovation/new processes/technologies.
- Identify efficiencies for content development with partner groups.
- Create annual strategic learning plans with matrix partners (US HOM, US FM Leadership, WW Medical Learning).
- Organize, execute, and maintain training for US FM teams supporting BMS priority tiered clinical trials (with Medical Excellence, WW Medical Learning, US FM Leadership, R&D).
- Align learning solutions/resources with medical therapeutic area strategic imperatives and priorities (onboarding, annual medical congresses, data updates, annual training needs assessments).

Other Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned SOPs and job-specific training within designated timeframes.
- Coordinate with commercialization matrix partners (e.g., marketing, commercial sales training).
- Manage vendors and budgets; comply with procurement SOPs for SOWs/POs.
- Maintain training materials and strategic plans using BMS platforms; attend live business-critical FM meetings as needed (including major US congresses).

Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree required: MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, PhD, or MSN (strongly preferred).
- 7–10 years pharmaceutical/biotech experience as an MSL or similar field-based role (5+ years specific TA experience preferred).
- Strong skills in public presentation.
- Exceptional organizational/planning skills.
- Ability to interact cross-functionally and across geographies.
- Ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication; able to build/maintain partnerships.
- Knowledge and demonstrated application of adult learning principles and effective learning design.
