About The Role:
The US Market Solutions role is a critical position focused on optimizing and enhancing Genmab's US market commercialization efforts. This role will drive improvements within the US market through strategic partnership management, business process optimization, application management, and innovation. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring the seamless integration and effective utilization of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other critical applications specific to the US market. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong background in the life sciences industry, particularly in CRM and field systems, and a deep understanding of the unique dynamics of the US pharmaceutical market.
As a manager of US Market Solutions you will be responsible for defining and delivering the short-term implementation and long-term roadmap for our product suites, aligning with US market business requirements and driving digital commercial capabilities. You will act as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring that technology solutions meet the evolving needs of the US market. This role requires a blend of product management skills, agile methodologies, and a passion for solving complex problems with data-driven solutions tailored for the US commercial landscape. The individual in this role will report to the Director, US Market Solutions and Data Visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
- Design and execute strategic partnerships to enhance US market solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key US-based stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Marketing, TLE, etc.).
- Partner with IT-Global HUB for best practices and platform alignment, ensuring relevance to the US market.
- Represent the team on cross-functional committees and initiatives, with a focus on US commercialization.
Business Process Optimization:
- Analyze US market business needs and identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Lead the development, configuration and implementation of new processes and workflows specific to US operations.
- Advocate for best practices in data management, CRM utilization, and user-centered design, tailored to the US market.
Application Management & Support:
- Ensure effective administration and support of CRM systems and other applications used in the US market.
- Oversee training program development and implementation for US-based teams.
- Monitor user satisfaction and identify areas for improvement within the US market.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Oversee development and delivery of reports and dashboards relevant to US market performance.
- Ensure data integrity and timely delivery for US-specific reporting.
- Analyze data trends and identify improvement opportunities in the US market.
- Utilize embedded technologies and visualization best practices for US market insights.
Innovation & Technology:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices relevant to US commercialization.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions for the US market.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools within the US organization.
Solution Ownership:
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for US market solutions.
- Prioritize and maintain product backlog features and enhancements relevant to the US market.
- Function as the primary point of contact for IT to business owners within the US organization.
- Track and report on product performance and optimize processes for efficiency in the US market.
- Manage budget planning and allocate resources for US-focused initiatives.
- Own and deliver the short-term implementation and long-term roadmap for the various product suites supporting US commercialization.
- Partnering with Business Sponsors and Business System Owners in the HUB to define the technology lifecycle of key Commercial and Medical platforms and ensuring their successful implementation in the US market.
- Working hands-on in the implementation of Commercial and Medical systems, including CRM systems, Salesforce, IQVIA, MedInfo and other SaaS solutions, within the US market.
- Define the integration and support strategies for key Market Access solutions for Revenue Management, Pricing, SAP, and Logistics partners, specifically for the US market.
- Ensure proper documentation and testing best practices to support the SaaS release cycles, adhering to US regulatory requirements.
- Lead the application Change Management process including driving changes across the Change Advisory Board and management of releases with internal processes and external vendors within the US market.
- Partner with cross-functional IT and HUB teams to integrate technology solutions and manage change requests, enhancements, and planned releases within the US market.
- Vendor management – facilitate change orders, scope change, vendor performance management and onboarding of new vendors, focusing on US market needs.
- Support the Management of CRM related systems, applications, and tools supporting essential field team execution in the US market.
- Specialized in the development and configuration of CRM Platforms for US market use.
- Utilize Salesforce tools such as flows, triggers, workflows, validation rules, apex programming, and visual force to optimize CRM functionalities for the US market.
Qualifications And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT and software development in the Life Science, Pharma, or Biotech industry, with a focus on the US market.
- 10+ years of experience as a digital product owner or digital product manager, preferably within the US pharmaceutical market.
- 10+ years of commercial operations experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or with life science consulting firm, with a strong emphasis on the US market.
- 10+ years’ experience coordinating application-based activities within a life science focused organization, with a focus on US operations.
- Preferred to have experience as a CRM Platform Administrator, with US market application.
- Experience in the Commercial and Medical Field Operations area, specifically within the US market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with US-based stakeholders.
- Proven experience with agile methodologies and the Scrum framework, with US market application.
- Project management experience preferred, with US market relevance.
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow, with experience in US market projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and influencing skills, with a focus on US market outcomes.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical landscape.
- Certifications in CRM Salesforce.com or Veeva preferred, with experience in US market implementations.
- Experience with Salesforce, Veeva and other life sciences technologies.
- Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.
- Experience with the Key Account Management (KAM) selling process.
- Experience with targeting and segmentation solutions.
- Was once a pharmaceutical sales rep.
- Experienced with healthcare data landscape at scale.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the ITIL framework, with experience in US-based IT operations.
- Experience with KPI performance monitoring and SLA management, with a focus on US market performance.

$156,800.00---$235,200.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
