Role Summary

Associate Director, US Consumer Creative & Advertising for Lilly medicines, delivering creative excellence by crafting human-centric consumer campaigns across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels. Lead development and execution of U.S. Consumer Branded Creative Campaigns aligned with Masterbrand and Disease State Education initiatives, leveraging video/film, audio, and out-of-home media within agile, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Consumer Campaign Development: Understand target patients, insights, competitive landscape, and KPIs; collaborate with market research and testing to ensure viability; manage agency development of creative platforms and campaign expressions; embed channel extensions into final recommendations; drive planning and execution with primary agency partners; infuse cross-cultural insights and GCO capabilities into campaigns; manage creative and production bidding processes and budgets.
  • Campaign Execution: Lead end-to-end campaign development to achieve business goals and TA KPIs; integrate Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned media into concepts and plans; ensure data-driven tactics aligned with brand objectives; coordinate with agencies and vendors for integrated campaigns; maintain Lilly Masterbrand and regulatory standards; oversee pre-production, production, and post-production processes for assets; manage talent collaborations; track budgets and coordinate schedules; monitor performance with analytics and media teams for optimizations and reporting.
  • Operations: Maintain relationships with creative agencies and internal partners; collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, Medical, Corporate Communications, and Global Customer Office teams; ensure compliance with CIQ procedures and tools.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree.
  • Required: Minimum 5 years of recent U.S. consumer marketing experience, including leadership of creative campaign development and execution.
  • Required: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
  • Preferred: Strong technical competencies in go-to-market marketing strategies, campaign development, video/digital production, content creation, and performance measurement.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in multichannel digital media tactics, including social media.
  • Preferred: Ability to translate customer insights into compelling cross-channel communications; experience leading cross-functional and external partnerships; familiarity with influencer/celebrity partnerships; experience managing creative agencies and vendor bids; knowledge of regulatory creative production (OPDP, FDA submissions); project management skills; MBA or advanced marketing certification; experience in cross-customer marketing or marketing capabilities; based in Indianapolis.
