Associate Director – US Commercial Finance (FP&A) – Foster City, CA
Role responsibilities:
- Own and lead HCV Therapeutic Area within the Liver franchise, including Revenue and Pricing (GTN).
- Lead Finance deliverables related to Revenue and Pricing within HCV TA.
- Lead Audit and GTN responsibilities for the Liver Finance Team (coordinate internal deliverables; work with external stakeholders).
- Provide ongoing and ad-hoc revenue and pricing/GTN analytical support to management and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to HCV contracting strategy and analysis with Managed Markets and the Pricing team.
- Support Revenue and GTN/Pricing forecasting and assumptions.
- Serve as point of contact for legal requests, state data requirements; collate financial litigation materials as needed.
- Build business partnerships with US Commercial organization and supporting functions to deliver financial support and analytics.
- Develop financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership.
- Drive and implement process improvement initiatives for planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Be an expert in relevant Gilead financial tools/systems and support the broader US Commercial Finance team.
Key competencies:
- Business partnership/collaboration, results-oriented, hands-on mindset, forward thinking, business/financial acumen, project management.
Basic qualifications:
- MS/MBA with 8+ years finance experience OR BS/BA with 10+ years increasing-scope finance experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years operational Revenue, Gross to Net, and pharma pricing knowledge.
- Strong analytical/modeling skills; GAAP and corporate finance knowledge; CPA or master’s degree.
- Prior biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Solution oriented; strong communication; independent contributor.
Benefits/compensation (as stated):
- Salary range: $182,070.00–$235,620.00; may be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
