Position Summary
Program Manager to support Translational Medicine Leaders in the Immunology, Cardiovascular and Neurology (ICN) Disease Team, enabling effective/efficient execution of translational development plans; manage complex late-phase portfolio assets and integrated biomarker plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ICN Translational Medicine Lead to design/execute program timelines and translational biomarker strategies; oversee data delivery, contracting, data transfers, regulatory submissions, and internal/external collaborations.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities (assay development, outsourcing, vendor management, biospecimen, data management, biostatistics, operations) to align with ICN priorities.
- Establish/maintain cross-functional stakeholder relationships; run meetings, manage agendas, capture minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Proactively manage scientific/operational risks and develop mitigation strategies; escalate as needed.
- Maintain a portfolio “book of work” with visibility/translation transparency using tools (e.g., Smartsheet/PowerPoint/Office Timeline).
- Oversee end-to-end ICN budgeted contracts; coordinate with vendor/alliances/finance/global procurement to issue purchase orders.
- Support biomarker study report documentation and document reviews/storage (e.g., SharePoint/Verity); facilitate publication planning and conference/presentation data delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- BS/MS in a scientific discipline; PMP or equivalent desirable.
- 5+ years pharma/related industry experience in matrixed operational/scientific roles.
- Strong communication/influencing skills; urgency and priority-setting; experience with complex global virtual projects.
- Contract/fiscal management; business case development; vendor management.
- Tools: Smartsheet, SharePoint, Office Timeline.
