Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison - Rheumatology

Role: Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison in Rheumatology, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Medical Experts to inform strategic initiatives and support education programs. Responsibilities include conducting compliant Medical Expert engagements, facilitating discussions to generate insights, supporting peer-to-peer education, and coordinating activities around congresses and external events. Collaboration spans Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress teams, leveraging digital tools and CRM platforms for engagement and insight management. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred), at least 5 years in Medical Expert engagement, field-based marketing, or similar roles within pharma/biotech, and residence in Los Angeles or surrounding areas with ability to travel 60-80% across CA, OR, WA, and HI. Proven ability to develop compliant external partnerships, execute strategic plans, and communicate insights effectively is essential. Preferred qualifications include expertise in Rheumatology and experience supporting HCP education and congress activities. The role is field-based with significant travel, requiring a valid driver’s license and adherence to compliance and ethical standards in medical engagement.
