Associate Director, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting

Role: Associate Director of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting supporting SHINE Technologies' external financial reporting and internal controls as a public company. Responsibilities include researching and documenting complex transactions under U.S. GAAP, preparing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations. The role involves developing accounting policies, supporting SOX internal controls, and coordinating with external auditors. Collaborates cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, and other teams; provides technical guidance and mentorship. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA (active or in progress), 10+ years of progressive accounting experience (public or corporate), strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX controls, and experience with SEC filings and XBRL tools. Preferred: experience with ERP systems and financial disclosures. The position may involve some physical activity, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and cross-functional partnership in a fast-paced, public-company environment.
