Discover Your Role
- Act as a strategic partner across the RGM CDU Leadership Team (LT) and the broader organization, driving alignment in support of portfolio and departmental planning with an emphasis on long-term strategic objectives.
- Oversee collation and tracking of critical program and departmental initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, special projects, and organizational planning to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Develop and deliver high-impact presentations for the Head of the RGM CDU (pipeline progress, strategic issues, RGM overviews for external collaborators, financial updates, organizational changes).
- Enhance resource management strategies.
- Conduct strategic mid-range planning for headcount needs (permanent and contract) and manage approval process for permanent headcount.
- Guide line managers in performance and talent management discussions; partner with functional leaders to refine succession planning.
- Spearhead infrastructure and space planning initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare and facilitate monthly departmental meetings (strategic planning, communications, agenda development, distribute minutes for accountability/action items).
- Champion continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with Global Development Strategic Planning & Operations on process changes and issues impacting RGM CDU.
- Champion adoption of AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Pilot) to streamline workflows, accelerate document/presentation development, synthesize information, and improve strategic output.

This Role Requires
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years experience required (MBA/PhD/PharmD preferred).
- Deep understanding of the drug development process.
- Agile, strategic/tactical problem solver with strong planning, interpersonal, and communication skills; scientific and business acumen.
- Proficiency with AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot or equivalent) for drafting, research synthesis, structured analysis, and presentation development.
- Curiosity to identify new AI applications, evaluate emerging tools, and guide others.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to synthesize information and think strategically.
- Self-motivated, flexible, proactive; can thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects; experience leading cross-functional strategic change initiatives.
- Expertise in MS applications including Teams, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
