Key Responsibilities
- Own strategic business relationships with multiple contract development and commercial manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) for small molecule sterile drug product, biologics drug substance and drug product, and antibody drug conjugates.
- Use business savvy and technical experience to drive high performance from partners; indirectly lead and influence others.
- Bid, select, and manage multiple CMOs.
- Serve as point of contact for strategic discussions, long-range supply/capacity planning, and business development.
- Manage supplier performance (monthly/annually); act as escalation point for manufacturing operations performance/contract issues.
- Lead annual business review meetings (BRMs) and supplier risk assessment/mitigation.
- Prepare/review/challenge/track RFPs/RFQs/RFIs with functional stakeholders; lead/support site assessment teams.
- Negotiate confidentiality agreements, master services agreements, and work orders; support make-vs-buy analysis.
- Coordinate meetings with CMOs and publish minutes; provide leadership and training.
- Develop budgets and report accruals to Finance as needed.
- Support product team needs for selecting external service/material suppliers; stay current on CDMO capabilities/capacities.
- Organize/participate in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings; keep track of key decisions.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years with BS/BA, OR 8+ years with MS/MA or MBA.

Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years in pharma/biotech or relevant manufacturing; at least 5 years in strategic sourcing (or equivalent).
- Experience leading outsourced providers/suppliers; CMC biopharmaceutical understanding.
- GMP/regulatory knowledge (21CFR parts 11, 210, 211, 820).
- Cross-functional leadership and people management; negotiate supply agreements; strong communication.
- Ability to manage multiple programs, develop concise senior-management presentations, solve complex problems, work in fast-paced environments.
- Travel up to 20% domestic/international.

Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $182,070.00–$235,620.00. May be eligible for annual bonus, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
