Responsibilities:
- Lead pricing analytics and presentations for global pricing reforms (incl. MFN-based policies) across the international therapeutics portfolio.
- Build and maintain pricing models to simulate International Reference Pricing (IRP) and Most Favored Nations (MFN) impacts on global revenue.
- Lead MFN discussions with senior management during planning cycles and ad hoc.
- Optimize timing/order of product launches to minimize “price erosion.”
- Develop “What-If” scenario planning for new therapeutic area entry and forecast long-term price ceilings using competitor benchmarks.
- Ensure global pricing database accuracy to prevent cascading pricing errors and involuntary linked-market cuts.
- Lead MFN mitigation/revenue maximization discussions with International/Global Pricing Council.
- Partner with Legal, Government Affairs, Market Access, Finance, and other INTL functions to assess impacts of US/INTL rule and regulation changes.
- Quantify financial impact of evolving healthcare policies (IRP, US legislative changes, PDAB requests), anticipate implications of policy shifts (e.g., CMS, G-BA, CADTH, HAS), and implement pricing/sales optimization recommendations.
- Create actionable reports for strategy leadership and present findings to senior management/C-suite.
- Lead adoption of pricing analytics tools/methodologies; create “board-ready” visualizations.
- Act as a consultative resource to pricing leads; build cross-functional partnerships.
Qualifications & skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus 10+ years related experience (pharma preferred); CPA/MBA preferred.
- Required: forecasting and Market Access Finance experience.
- Ability to synthesize new topics quickly; lead without authority; independent cross-functional leadership.
- High credibility/competence; decision-making with ambiguity.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills; manage workload to meet critical deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience leading/motivating a team; supporting GM/VP planning and monitoring results/targets.
