Job Description
The Associate Director, Commercial Development, Established Products drives commercial strategy and execution for the Authorized Generic portfolio. Identifies growth opportunities, shapes lifecycle and portfolio strategies, and mobilizes cross-functional teams to deliver revenue, profitability, and long-term business value via Authorized Generics. Liaises with Operations to coordinate supply alignment and may act as brand lead for specific branded products within EPIC as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as AG thought leader; manage the AG portfolio by identifying incremental opportunities and proactively mitigating risk.
- Lead evaluation and forecasting of new AG opportunities; make supportable recommendations.
- Partner with Operations, Market Access, Govt Pricing, and other stakeholders to ensure successful launches of new AG brands.
- Partner with finance and Established Brands Head of Marketing to ensure AG financial forecasts are accurate and reliable.
- Lead negotiation of new AG contracts (and re-negotiate existing agreements as needed) with Legal and partners to drive maximum value for AbbVie.
- Build relationships with AG partners; seek new partnerships or enhance current ones to drive additional profitability.
- Act as primary Established Brands commercial advisor to Operations; align support to business & patient needs; partner with EPIC brand leads, Head of Marketing, and operations to ensure ADS submissions are accurate and balanced.
- Identify emerging opportunities and challenges; drive stakeholder alignment to execute AG portfolio solutions.
- Provide proactive updates to leadership on progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
- May act as brand lead for specific assets within Established Products branded portfolio.
- Ensure activities align with corporate and divisional policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, and/or operations.
- 5+ years of healthcare experience.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Strong leadership with strategic thinking, collaboration, innovation, analytical rigor, communication, adaptability, and integrity.
