Role Summary
The Associate Director of Strategic Accounts (ADSA) will report to the Sr Area Business Director and will lead a team of 2 Hematology Therapeutic Specialists (HTS) who are primarily focused on community pull-through. The geographic region managed by the ADSA includes St. Louis, Indiana, and Kentucky. ADSA responsibilities include the direct management of HTSs, region strategy and execution, account management, cross-functional collaboration, engagement of key thought leaders, and education of account stakeholders on the clinical profile of ZYNLONTA. This person will leverage approved resources and work with the cross-functional ADC Therapeutics team to educate and support the customer to ensure a positive experience with ZYNLONTA.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed business objectives within our compliance framework
- Establish partnership with key stakeholders within accounts and serve as the single-point of contact within the account for ADC Therapeutics
- Full people management responsibilities for their team of Hematology Therapeutic Specialists
- Develop an understanding of accounts and perception/sentiment towards ZYNLONTA
- Develop robust account plans for each key account and collaborate across the organization to execute on plans
- Will serve as a player/coach for area business including performance of their own accounts as well as managing the performance of their Hematology Therapeutic Specialists
- Be an expert on the clinical profile of ZYNLONTA and clearly articulate the value proposition to key stakeholders
- Utilize approved materials and resources to drive awareness and advocacy for ZYNLONTA
- Understand mapping of physicians and key stakeholders within each account to best drive advocacy for ZYNLONTA
- Partner with appropriate stakeholders within accounts to ensure a positive experience with ZYNLONTA including office staff, pharmacists, business managers, etc., and triaging requests compliantly
- Participate in account reviews and business reviews with the cross-functional ADCT team
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs degree from an accredited college or university
- Preferred: 5+ years in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industry
- Preferred: Oncology/Hematology experience
- Preferred: Experience with buy and bill products
- Required: Account management experience
- Preferred: People management experience
- Required: Outstanding communication, listening skills, collaboration, business acumen, follow-through, and ability to influence
- Required: Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing and complex environment
- Required: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Required: Valid driverโs license and acceptable driving record
- Required: Ability to comply with credentialing
Additional Requirements
- Travel expectation: On average in your territory 4 days/week and as needed for conference coverage
- Must be able to travel as necessary which may include weekend travel for congresses
