Role Summary
Associate Director, Strategic Accounts - St. Louis / Indiana region. Lead a small team of Hematology Therapeutic Specialists, driving account strategy and education of stakeholders on the clinical profile of ZYNLONTA within major academic institutions and surrounding markets.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed business objectives within our compliance framework
- Establish partnership with key stakeholders within accounts and serve as the single-point of contact within the account for ADC Therapeutics
- Full people management responsibilities for their team of Hematology Therapeutic Specialists
- Develop an understanding of accounts and perception/sentiment towards ZYNLONTA
- Develop robust account plans for each key account and collaborate across the organization to execute on plans
- Serve as a player/coach for area business including performance of their own accounts as well as managing the performance of their Hematology Therapeutic Specialists
- Be an expert on the clinical profile of ZYNLONTA and clearly articulate the value proposition to key stakeholders
- Utilize approved materials and resources to drive awareness and advocacy for ZYNLONTA
- Understand mapping of physicians and key stakeholders within each account to best drive advocacy for ZYNLONTA
- Partner with appropriate stakeholders within accounts to ensure a positive experience with ZYNLONTA
- Triaging requests compliantly and participating in account reviews with the cross-functional team
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industry preferred
- Oncology/Hematology experience preferred
- Experience with buy and bill products preferred
- Account management experience
- People management experience preferred – but not required
- Outstanding communication, listening skills, collaboration, business acumen, follow-through, and ability to influence
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing and complex environment
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to comply with credentialing
- Travel: approximately 4 days/week in territory and travel as needed for conferences; weekend travel for congresses may be required
