Role: Associate Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting, supporting external filings and complex accounting analyses in a public biotech environment. Responsibilities: prepare quarterly and annual SEC reports (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), draft MD&A disclosures, coordinate reporting processes, and support technical assessments for transactions such as licensing, collaborations, and financings. Manage and mentor one staff member, ensuring quality and compliance; contribute to process improvements and SOX documentation. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA preferred, with 10+ years in SEC reporting, including public accounting or biotech industry experience; strong U.S. GAAP and SEC knowledge; excellent communication and detail orientation. Preferred: experience with ASC 842 lease accounting, cross-functional collaboration; ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving setting. High-Value: experience in biotech, preferably with R&D or licensing transactions, public company reporting standards, and technical memo development.
