Job Summary
- The Sales Trainer designs, delivers, and continuously evolves training programs to drive commercial excellence across the sales organization, partnering with the BU Lead for Sales Training to ensure field teams have product, disease-state, and competitive/marketing landscape expertise. Also assesses training effectiveness and evolves programs to meet marketplace and business needs.

Responsibilities
- Develop training materials and learning experiences that are scientifically accurate, commercially relevant, and compliant with MLR standards.
- Design, develop, and execute a comprehensive new-hire training strategy for diverse commercial teams.
- Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to keep training content current and strategically aligned.
- Create sales enablement resources (workshops, simulations, and digital learning) using adult learning principles.
- Manage project execution and vendor partnerships to deliver on time, within scope, and aligned to learning strategy.
- Oversee onboarding for Initial Phase Training and product certifications.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations to ensure field readiness; support national training meetings, product launches, and regional meetings.
- Assess program effectiveness using metrics, knowledge assessments, and performance data; report insights to senior training leadership.
- Ensure all materials and programs meet Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review standards and stay current on applicable regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (master’s preferred).
- 3–5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience (preferably BU-specific category).
- 2+ years pharmaceutical training, coaching, or sales leadership experience; knowledge of adult learning.
- Deep knowledge of BU-specific disease states, treatment landscapes, competitive environment, and access pathways.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations (sales, marketing, market access).
- Experience designing and delivering engaging training that drives measurable performance.
- Experience navigating the MLR review process; excellent facilitation/presentation/communication; LMS and digital learning tools proficiency.
- Travel: 30–50%.
- Experience with BU franchise training, market access, and commercial operations.
- Experience with instructional design tools and integration of AI technology.
