Role: Associate Director, Research Strategy Development, driving strategic initiatives within Takeda Research, including the Labs of Tomorrow transformation focused on AI, automation, and innovative research models. Responsibilities: support and lead strategic problem structuring, develop analytical frameworks, contribute to multi-year roadmaps, partner with senior research leaders to align scientific priorities with enterprise strategy, translate complex strategies into actionable plans, and monitor emerging scientific and technological trends. Qualifications: PhD in life sciences preferred; 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech strategy with drug discovery experience; strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills; experience in management consulting or internal strategy roles; familiarity with AI, data platforms, and research automation tools is a plus.
