Position Summary
Associate Director, Reblozyl Forecasting: independently develop, maintain, and deliver forecasts for one or more therapeutic areas to inform brand strategy, enterprise planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end forecasting for assigned brands/therapeutic areas; deliver accurate, objective outputs with transparent assumptions.
- Integrate market research, competitive intelligence, and chart audits to strengthen assumptions and contextualize results.
- Support 1-, 3-, and 10-year forecasting cycles; translate business questions into structured analyses and scenario plans.
- Develop and execute AI-first forecasting models (Excel-based, algorithmic, or data-enabled); ensure calibration, documentation, and enterprise alignment.
- Perform scenario/sensitivity analyses; provide feedback to Forecasting Transformation, Data Science, and BI&T teams.
- Partner with Finance, MAx, Commercial, Pricing, Medical, and Worldwide teams; participate in reviews and provide unbiased forecast driver/risk/opportunity insights.
- Maintain QC, transparency, audit readiness, and reproducibility; streamline tools/processes; follow model-risk guidelines.
- Provide informal mentorship and day-to-day guidance to analysts.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical forecasting/commercial analytics/related quantitative fields.
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Proficiency in forecasting methods, scenario modeling, and pharmaceutical secondary data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony).
- Experience building/using Excel-based, algorithmic, or AI-enabled forecast models.
- Python (or comparable tools) preferred.
- Strong communication/data-storytelling; ability to synthesize complex data; structured problem-solving; rigorous QC and methodological transparency; intellectual curiosity/AI-first enthusiasm.
