Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation of analyses and studies; provide senior support and direction to Data Analysts on the RWE team.
- Provide programming support and senior oversight for analyses using large databases (e.g., administrative claims, electronic health records).
- Collaborate with HEVA, Medical Affairs, BO&S, and commercial product teams to translate research questions into actionable analytics items.
- Assess study feasibility across data sources; conduct exploratory analyses to understand a data source and inform study feasibility/design.
- Analyze data using provided definitions via traditional programming or digital applications.
- Characterize disease epidemiology, burden, and rates of pre-specified outcomes using descriptive/comparative study designs; review literature/code lists/validated algorithms; create statistical analysis plans and table shells.
- Develop study algorithms (e.g., oncology lines of therapy); apply modeling approaches (regression, time-to-event); report results (tables, dashboards, slide decks); communicate findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 5 years relevant experience OR MS/PhD + 3 years relevant experience.
- Academic training in mathematics, statistics/biostatistics, statistical programming, observational research, epidemiology, health economics, or related quantitative field (preferred).

Required Skills/Experience:
- R, Python, and SQL programming.
- Working knowledge of statistical methods.
- Epidemiological methods experience.
- Experience analyzing secondary patient data (e.g., EMRs, administrative claims).
- Experience leading observational studies/analyses using secondary data; US claims/EMR experience; pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Ability to guide more junior team members through analyses.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; collaboration; communicate technical details to non-experts.
