Role: Associate Director of Public Policy and Reimbursement at Takeda, focusing on U.S. healthcare reimbursement policy for pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities: analyze federal and commercial coverage, coding, and reimbursement policies (CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers); monitor evolving policy impacts on Takedaโ€™s oncology portfolio; develop strategic policy positions; lead reimbursement strategies, including CMS engagement, HCPCS, CPT, and USP classifications; serve as the primary policy resource for internal teams; evaluate policy implications of MFN, 340B, and Inflation Reduction Act on pricing and access; facilitate analysis of reimbursement risks and opportunities. Requirements: bachelorโ€™s degree; 7+ years in pharma or healthcare policy; strong writing and analytical skills; expertise in healthcare reimbursement, coding, payment, and access across government and commercial markets; familiarity with FDA-regulated products, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer environments; project management and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred: policy-related healthcare experience, strategic thinking, leadership, cross-cultural collaboration. Work setup: hybrid in Washington, D.C. or Cambridge, MA; up to 10% travel.
