Role Summary
The Associate Director for RINVOQ Dermatology leads key strategic initiatives across the RINVOQ portfolio, including KOL engagement planning, advisory board and consultancy support, competitive preparedness, APP strategy and execution, and other strategic workstreams. They coordinate across the RINVOQ dermatology portfolio (atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, and alopecia areata) and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to position RINVOQ in dermatology. The role involves translating customer insights into engagement strategies and strategic recommendations, in partnership with the three indication brand leaders, and partnering across functional teams and the Immunology franchise (US and International). The position reports to the Head of Marketing, RINVOQ Dermatology.
Responsibilities
- KOL Relationship Management β This individual will serve as the liaison between the Strategic Marketing team and the three indication brand teams to identify thought leaders and cultivate relationships to garner insights that will be shared with the brand teams.
- Customer Engagement Planning β This individual will serve as the liaison between the Strategic Marketing team and the three indication brand teams to lead the process to gain customer insights via consultancies, ad boards, and at key Congresses via CBICs.
- APP Strategy Development & Execution β This individual will lead the development of a robust APP strategy across the RINVOQ Dermatology portfolio including identifying potential partnerships, educational opportunities, etc.
- Other Various Strategic Projects β This individual will lead cross-portfolio strategic projects for all RINVOQ Dermatology. These projects will include pan-immunology initiatives as well as ad hoc senior leadership requests.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorβs degree in marketing or related field
- Required: Pharmaceutical marketing experience
- Required: Proven ability to complete work on-time with excellence
- Required: Positive attitude and proven ability to build strong relationships with peers, cross-functional and agency partners to enable higher performance
- Required: Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Required: Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and accountability
- Required: Familiarity with Annual Planning processes, contracting & ad board processes
- Required: Budget management experience
- Preferred: 6+ years of relevant brand marketing experience
- Preferred: Prior experience in Professional pharmaceutical marketing
- Preferred: Strategic and tactical planning experience
- Preferred: Prior experience growing mature brands, launching new brands/indications, and/or portfolio management experience
- Preferred: Prior KOL management experience
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
