Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing technology team across US and India; own staffing strategy, performance management, and mentorship.
- Define and lead CTI-MD CMC Product Development technical architecture (applications, data, integration, cloud-native/AI patterns) aligned to Tech@Lilly standards and GxP; own governance, roadmap, agile release planning, and risk mitigation.
- Partner with CMC Product Development business/scientific leaders; translate scientific/business demand into delivery priorities; communicate outcomes and direction to stakeholders.
- Serve as Technical System Owner to ensure Lilly Quality System lifecycle compliance (GxP, CSA, ALCOA+, SOX) and inspection readiness; drive emerging tech adoption; partner with Cybersecurity on remediation; own service transition to steady-state.
- Manage key suppliers (SOW oversight, contract compliance); partner with Procurement; own budgeting/forecasting.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years IT experience; 3+ years across multiple SDLC phases (initiation through deployment, support, retirement).
- Scientific/technical background in pharmaceutical drug development/manufacturing; credibility with bench scientists and manufacturing SMEs.
- Experience applying AI/ML or advanced analytics in life sciences/drug development; distinguish value from hype.
- Experience leading teams with cloud technologies/microservices; leading IT transformation and technical teams.
- GxP experience (CSA and data integrity) in pharma/life sciences.
- Budget/forecasting and vendor management; agile delivery, operational excellence, ITIL in global matrixed org.
- Strong executive communication.

Location/Work: Indianapolis, IN; hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Compensation/Benefits (if eligible): $132,000–$193,600; possible company bonus; 401(k), pension, vacation, medical/dental/vision, flexible benefits, life insurance, time-off/leave, well-being benefits.
