Role Summary

Associate Director - Product Manager - Lilly.com UE Patient Experience. The Product Manager for UE Patient Experience leads cross-functional teams to deliver customer-first digital experiences that support users throughout their health journey, aligning with the product vision and strategy set by the Group Product Manager. This role drives value, usability, feasibility, and measurable business outcomes across digital properties while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional product team in implementing and delivering the product vision, customer-centric focus, and product strategy set by the Group Product Manager.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional product teams (e.g., engineering, design, SEO, account management) in delivering integrated digital experiences and drive the daily execution of product initiatives, ensuring alignment with CX principles and prioritizing the customer while balancing business requirements.
  • Champion continuous product discovery and delivery, validating solutions for value, usability, feasibility, customer-centricity, UX testing, and viability.
  • Serve as a data-driven voice of the customer (VoC) and the business during design and development, testing, and implementation, providing clear guidance and making trade-off decisions.
  • Develop an atmosphere of experimentation, learning, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Track site performance and analytics, providing insights to improve user experience and engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Lilly to ensure alignment and compliance (Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, Engineering, Design, Research).
  • Support teams in discovering, designing, and delivering solutions, and hold them accountable for outcomes.
  • Facilitate updates and reviews with senior leadership to drive alignment on product progress, gather feedback, evaluate performance, and secure resources.
  • Apply industry trends and standard processes to continuously improve digital experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management, UX testing, Human Centered Design (HCD), digital product ownership, digital agency, or a similar strategic role.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship provided.

Additional Preferences

  • Expertise leading digital products with cross-functional partners and VoC integration; redesigns and integration of multiple digital properties.
  • Ability to translate customer and collaborator insights into effective enterprise plans.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and team management skills.
  • Track record of implementing web product strategies supported by analytics demonstrating value from customer and organizational perspectives.
  • Experience working with external and internal partners to deliver web experiences.
  • Strong understanding of UX, UX testing, VoC data gathering, UX measurement, and digital design methodologies.
  • Agility in cross-functional marketing and operations within a matrixed organization.
  • Critical thinking with ability to thrive in complex, dynamic environments.
  • Experience with Adobe AEM, EDS or similar site platforms; website redesigns and integrations post-merger/acquisition; scaling digital capabilities enterprise-wide.
  • Understanding of global digital regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Collaborative experience leading cross-functional teams; ownership of operational and tactical workplans.
  • Ability to influence across all levels; knowledge of internal content approval processes.
  • Strong organizational change management and conflict resolution skills.
