Associate Director, Consulting & Professional Services
Major Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Serve as procurement project lead and primary point of contact for assigned consulting specialties across Tier 2 and 3 services.
- Partner with project leaders to understand scope, business strategy, and intended outcomes.
- Draft negotiation strategy and areas of opportunity; align with Agile Sourcing team to execute.
- Facilitate end-to-end governance by coordinating across Procurement, Finance, and LT (CEO-2) leadership.
- Develop project summaries and supporting documentation for executive approvals and enterprise reporting.
- Identify/escalate risks, bottlenecks, or governance misalignments; recommend solutions that preserve speed and compliance.
- Provide periodic external talent market insights (labor trends, rate benchmarking, supply/demand, engagement models).
- Support monthly Consulting LT report for BMS Leadership Team with accuracy and alignment.
- Deliver clear communications on project status, risks, decisions, and required actions.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- B.S. in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or equivalent.
- 7+ years work experience, including 5 years in procurement.
- Skills in stakeholder management, data/information management, category management, process redesign/continuous improvement, project management, and performance measurement.
- Deep expertise negotiating Consulting/Professional Services Agreements.
- Knowledge of procurement/category/contract management, financial and market analysis, supplier analysis/management, technology utilization, and strategic planning.
- Strong influencing, project management, and cross-functional leadership.
- Ability to gain marketplace intelligence and communicate commercial impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to apply PMO best practices/tools/templates in governance support.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools to streamline ways of working.
