Role Summary

Associate Director, Pricing and Contracting at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. supports and executes the operations of pricing, contracting, and market access strategies as the company brings CRISPR-based therapies to market. This role participates in the first-ever commercialization of an in-vivo, one-time CRISPR-based therapy and requires experience with outpatient, medical benefit reimbursed drugs. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to prepare for launch readiness and post-launch operations.

Responsibilities

  • Pricing and Contracting Material Development and Workflow Management: develop site-of-care materials, trade-related materials, pricing and contracting materials; manage review through medical, legal, and promotional channels; develop additional materials as needed.
  • Contract Development, Review And Tracking: assist with business case development and analytical modeling; communicate results; review contract language and terms; support negotiations and red-lining; track lifecycle and perform lookback analyses.
  • Revenue Management Operations: collaborate with third-party vendor to develop revenue management operations pre-launch; develop SOPs for GP methodology, rebates, FSS, and Gross-to-Net; translate SOPs to outsourced services; maintain and update SOPs; manage pre- and post-launch revenue operations, including government price reporting and contract payment processing.
  • State Price Transparency Reporting: develop and maintain SOPs; track requirements; prepare and submit state price transparency filings; assess price impact on reporting; manage registrations and related fees.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of traditional and innovative contracting strategies; experience with GP and related programs for Medicaid, Medicare, Federal Supply Schedule/Tricare, and 340B/PHS; knowledge of applicable regulations.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Experience developing analytical models to analyze contract offers and strategies; excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to influence senior-level decision-making.
  • Experience launching novel therapies with medical benefit outpatient reimbursement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment; willingness to expand responsibilities in a commercialization-focused setting.
  • Commitment to compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 6–8+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech, with at least 5 years in pricing, market access, or contracting; experience in specialty or gene therapies preferred.
