Role Summary
Associate Director, Pricing and Contracting at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. support and execute operations of pricing, contracting, and market access strategies for CRISPR-based therapies. Participate in the first-ever commercialization of an in-vivo, one-time CRISPR-based therapy. This role involves launching readiness and post-launch operations, including pricing and contracting material development, contract development and tracking, revenue management operations, and state price transparency reporting. Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HEOR, Trade and Accounts, Forecasting, Commercial Operations, and Legal.
Responsibilities
- Pricing and Contracting Material Development and Workflow Management: develop site-of-care materials, trade-related materials, pricing and contracting materials; manage reviews through medical, legal, and promotional channels; develop additional materials as needed.
- Contract Development, Review And Tracking: support business case development with analytical modeling; communicate results within Market Access; review contract language and conditions; support negotiation and redlining; track contract lifecycle; perform lookback analysis.
- Revenue Management Operations: collaborate with third-party vendor on revenue management pre-launch and post-launch; develop SOPs/policies for GP methodology, Rebate and Fee Processing, FSS, Gross-to-Net; maintain SOPs; manage government price reporting and related activities; contract setup and payment processing; review claims data and reconcile discounts; manage 3rd party interactions to finalize prices and payments; monitor for discrepancies and 340B integrity.
- State Price Transparency Reporting: develop and maintain SOPs; manage state price transparency requirements; prepare quarterly/annual submissions; assess price impacts on reporting; manage state registrations and fees.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of traditional and innovative contracting strategies; knowledge of GP and related programs for Medicaid, Medicare, Federal Supply Schedule/Tricare, and 340B/PHS; regulatory awareness.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint).
- Experience developing analytical models to analyze contract offers and strategies; excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence senior-level decisions; collaborative in fast-paced environments.
- Experience launching novel therapies with medical benefit outpatient reimbursement.
- Commitment to compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelorโs degree required; advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 6-8+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech, with at least 5 years in pricing, market access, or contracting; preferably in specialty or gene therapies.
