About The Role
Leads execution of the People Technology strategy, product roadmap, governance, optimization, and operation excellence, with Workday HCM as the core platform. Partners with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Cybersecurity, Data and Analytics, and business leaders to translate workforce priorities into scalable, secure, and user-centered solutions. Serves as the Workday platform owner and primary design authority, overseeing architecture, configuration governance, integrations, reporting and analytics, release adoption, data quality, and responsible use of AI-enabled capabilities. Leads and develops a People Technology team and strategic partners to deliver measurable business value, strong controls, and an effective employee and manager experience.

Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Lead execution of the People Technology strategy and multi-year roadmap (Workday HCM as system of record).
- Own Workday platform operating model: governance, solution design, configuration standards, demand prioritization, release/change management, technical debt, service levels, value realization.
- Lead implementations, optimizations, integrations, and major platform changes through testing, deployment, adoption, stabilization, and benefits realization.
- Maintain scalable, secure, compliant architecture, data, reporting/analytics, integrations, and controls in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead production operations and continuous improvement (incident/problem/change, monitoring, root-cause, release readiness, service performance, adoption).
- Evaluate and govern emerging capabilities (AI-enabled tools, Workday Extend, analytics, automation) with security/privacy controls and measurable outcomes.
- Build and develop the People Technology team and vendor partner ecosystem.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- BS/BA or higher education OR: 10+ years progressive HR technology/HRIS experience; 5+ years Workday HCM; 3+ years leading teams; ownership of end-to-end Workday implementation/major transformation + sustained post-production optimization. Workday configuration, security, reporting/analytics, integrations, and release management required. ADP/third-party payroll integration preferred.
OR
- MS/MA + 8+ years experience; 5+ years Workday HCM; 3+ years leading teams.
- Current Workday Pro certifications preferred (HCM/Security/Reporting & Analytics, Platform Administrator, Orchestrate Developer, and/or Extend Developer I).
- Previous people-management and functional/platform leadership required; systems integrators/AMS partners preferred.
- Hands-on depth in 3+ Workday functional areas (e.g., Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Org Management, Workforce Planning, Payroll).

Compensation/Benefits
- Annual base salary: $161,100.00-$220,000.00; annual bonus target 30% of earned base; equity long-term incentive eligibility.
