Associate Director, People Operations & Transformation (Hybrid β€” Cambridge, MA)

Responsibilities
- Establish and operationalize an HR service ownership framework (service catalog design, roles, KPIs, SLAs, governance).
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking service performance, experience metrics, and operational health.
- Partner with service owners to drive accountability and continuous improvement; leverage AI to ensure consistent delivery.
- Lead end-to-end process mapping, redesign, and documentation across the employee lifecycle.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma (or similar) to reduce complexity, eliminate friction, and enable scalable automated workflows.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement recommendations to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Facilitate design-thinking workshops, journey mapping, and stakeholder interviews; translate insights into prototypes, process changes, and/or technology enhancements.
- Optimize ServiceNow HRSD (case management, knowledge management, workflow automation, service catalog architecture) with IT/HRIS.
- Identify opportunities for AI/automation to improve accuracy, speed, and employee experience; support testing/rollout/adoption.
- Collaborate with HRBPs, COEs, IT, Finance, and Communications; develop change strategies, communications, and training.
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, deliverables; support a multi-year People transformation roadmap.

Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in HR operations/transformation/shared services (consulting experience strongly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in business process re-engineering and operational transformation.
- Hands-on experience standing up/managing service ownership frameworks (KPIs, SLAs, continuous improvement).
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD (or similar) with optimization experience.
- Experience with design thinking, Lean, Six Sigma (or similar).
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical/problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation in HR preferred.

Pay Range
- $153,000.00 – $207,000.00 base salary.
