Associate Director, Patient Engagement Training

Role: Associate Director of Patient Engagement Training leading strategic design, development, and deployment of training programs for Patient Support Programs at AbbVie. Responsibilities: oversee creation of franchise-specific learning solutions for patient-facing teams, including training for product launches, enhancements, and operational changes; partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Marketing, Compliance, Access & Reimbursement, and Legal to align training strategies with business goals; lead a team of training professionals, manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards; champion innovative learning methods including virtual, digital, and on-demand solutions; serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on capability development; ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 8-15 years in pharmaceutical industry or related training experience with management success; strong strategic, project management, and stakeholder influencing skills; proficiency in adult learning principles and instructional design preferred. High-Value: focus on Patient Services, product launch readiness, cross-functional training, compliance with CFR 210/211, cGMP; travel approximately 25%.
