Role Summary

Responsible for innovation and pipeline strategy for the Global OTC Eye Care portfolio. Develop market-driven long-range plans to maintain category leadership and drive portfolio growth. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive commercialization efforts and provide OTC thought leadership to ensure strategic alignment and maximize business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the LRP and long-term innovation plans including product strategy and portfolio optimization activities.
  • Identify growth opportunity areas, develop and validate concepts with consumers, and create business plans to support innovation.
  • Develop strong understanding of OUS markets and collaborate with OUS affiliates to drive long term global innovation strategy.
  • Commercial lead on cross-functional teams to provide marketing and brand SME support to upstream product development activities.
  • Work with cross-functional commercialization teams to ensure successful launch of new products and the supporting promotional plans.
  • Drive OTC governance structure to enable speed-to-market.
  • Lead global OTC sustainability task force to position AbbVie as an industry leader in sustainability.
  • Actively participate in leadership meetings.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Required: Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skills.
  • Preferred: Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Preferred: BS/BA, MBA.
